DCS implements Advantis and Advantis Crypto, SERMEPA´s Operating Systems

Company is First Instant Issuance Provider to perform this implementation  in the Latin American Card Market

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—(June 15, 2010)—Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), the leading provider of instant issuance, PIN Change and PIN selection solutions for banks, credit unions and retailers that issue magnetic stripe, EMV and contactless cards, today announced that it has implemented the operating systems Advantis ® (SDA) and Advantis ® Crypto (DDA) in their instant issuance technology. DCS is the first instant issue provider to implement both of these platforms. 

The Advantis platforms ® (formerly known asTIBC ®) are multi-application, multi-currency operating systems for smart cards developed by SERMEPA that support EMV and ePurse applications. The Advantis ® operating systems are widely used throughout Latin America and within Europe for issuing EMV Visa® and MasterCard® debit and credit cards. 

DCS’ instant issuance technology can quickly and securely personalize, encode, print or emboss an EMV debit or credit card at the branch level.  The company’s flagship software, CardWizard®, is a modular software application used in thousands of financial instution locations globally to instantly issue Visa®, MasterCard®, and other EMV debit and credit cards, eliminating the costs, risks and delays associated with central issuance and subsequent delivery of payment cards and PIN mailers.

DCS’ instant issuance technology supports the full array of chip cards from virtually all manufacturers, and integrates seamlessly with numerous core banking applications, card management systems, data preparation systems, branch automation platforms, and switching service providers. The software and EMV infrastructure are installed in the issuer’s central computer room, allowing high security and centralized control.  Card printing or embossing machines are then distributed at the remote issuance locations along with PIN selection and/or PIN change terminals.
