Dynamic Card Solutions’ Instant Issue Technology Selected by Glacier Bancorp

Mountain West Bank and Glacier Bank to offer unembossed instant issuance to its customers

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—(Jan. 19, 2010) — Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS), the leading provider of instant issuance and PIN selection solutions for banks, credit unions and retailers that issue magnetic stripe, EMV and contactless cards, today announced that it has signed Glacier Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: GBCI).

DCS is working with Glacier Bancorp, a holding company of 11 banks and 94 branches in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Washington, to implement a state-of-the-art card program that instantly issues unembossed Visa® debit cards at the branch level. Glacier Bancorp plans to begin rolling out DCS’ CardWizard® software and FCP 20/20 unembossed card printers to two of its banks — Mountain West Bank, which has 24 branches; and Glacier Bank, with 15 branches.

Utilizing DCS’ technology, Mountain West Bank and Glacier Bank will now be able to offer new customers who open a checking account as well as existing customers who need a replacement debit card, the ability to simply walk into the branch and receive an unembossed personalized Visa debit card in a matter of minutes which can then be immediately used when they leave the branch.

By issuing unembossed Visa debit cards, Mountain West and Glacier Bank will have the ability to offer a gallery of images that cardholders can personally select for their card background.  Once the background is selected, DCS’ CardWizard software transfers all personalization data fully encrypted to the FCP 20/20 printer which quickly and securely prints in high-definition color onto both sides of white blank card stock the personalized unembossed card. .
